Description and Requirements

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for managing projects, preparing and editing presentations and spreadsheets, generating and distributing reports, maintaining business information, and acting as the area contact.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   May provide back-up support for other administrative associates.

·   Promote the fiscal and operational vitality of Vertex by demonstrating an awareness, understanding and fulfillment of the stewardship responsibility which all employees have for the sound use and preservation of the resources, tools and equipment made available to them; and by demonstrating an understanding of, and adherence to, all Vertex Corporate Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·   Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) comfortable with other misc. administrative technology tools.

·   Able to handle confidential/sensitive information discretely

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

·   Associates Degree in business or related administrative sciences program or equivalent work experience.

·   Six (6) years plus of experience in an administrative role.

·   Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
